Who knew losing money could be so much fun?

Only in Vegas is it fun to lose money. I am sure it would be even better to win but that place just takes all the pain away.

Our trip started off on an interesting note. My husband and I were not seated together which I absolutely hate because I tend to fall asleep and sleep with my mouth open. That is not a vision I desire to share with strangers. Luckily the people I sat with were very involved in their books and hopefully not noticing the open mouthed girl sleeping beside them. When we got close to the airport is when I learned something new. The pilot came on and told us that we would have to circle around for at least a half hour because the President just happened to be at the airport and was getting ready to fly out therefore making the area around the airport a no fly zone. Those last thirty minutes went by very slowly but once we landed I was super excited to be there.

We decided to stay at the Venetian. This place was amazing!!!! I have never seen a more beautiful hotel in my life. To top it all off, it smelled absolutely divine! Of course I had to investigate the smell which was bitter orange and now my new fav smell.

Once settled we headed out to the casino and were surprised to see a ton of celebrities. There was a charity poker tournament going on so I guess they were all there for that. It is funny when you have a notion in your heads as to what someone is supposed to look like and then you see them in person and they are half the height or half as attractive as you thought they were. A few of the celebrities that I recognized were, Slash, Christian Slater, Tony Hawk, Joanna Krupa, Jason Alexander the tall guy from Everybody Loves Raymond and Montell Williams who had a super young beauty on his arm and wore his pants way too high.

Here is how the rest of the trip went. Eat, gamble, drink, eat, sleep and repeat. I really had a good time and really appreciate my honey for talking me.

So any way’s now that I have yapped and yapped I want to get to the shop that I want to share with you. I was talking to my Momma on the phone yesterday and she told me about this really great shopWildWomanJewelry that she found on Craft Gawker . Not only does this girl have really beautiful stuff in her shop but she is also Canadian!!!!

Make sure to check out WildWomanJewelry shop as there are so many beautiful pieces to look at.

Don't you just love getting packages in the mail!!!!

The last two days have been pretty exciting around here. Yesterday I was featured in three blogs!!! I felt like a dog collar making A- lister for a minute. Don’t worry I have been humbled again and will not brag about the fact that I was featured in three blogs. Wait, did I mention that I was featured in three blogs???

Ok now that I got that out of the way I can move on to my next happy moment. This took place when the Mailman dropped off a lovely box for me. I knew what it was already because I am such a nerd that I had been tracking it therefore I was eagerly awaiting its arrival today. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a total scent freak. I have the nose of a bloodhound which can be great at times and really horrible at other times. Well this is one of those times that it is really great.

Today’s package was the Pink Sugar candle that I had ordered from my fellow Etsy seller Aunie Di's De-Lites

I could smell this delicious candle even before I got it out of the box. While I was opening it my husband looked at me and said “Honey, I think you need to get some help”. I asked him why and he said” You have candle issues. Look at how excited you are to open that box”. Personally I do not feel that I need to be committed for my candle obsession. I think it makes me a really easy person to buy gifts for. Hint Hint.

The point is, this candle smells great and I think I will be purchasing many more from this great girl!!!

Contrary to the look on her face
Sophia gives this candle two paws up!

We don't always get what we want.

So I figured in honor of my upcoming trip to Las Vegas this weekend, I would feature some items I found on Etsy using Las Vegas in my search. Well, let me tell you…… Who knew there was so much junk associated with Vegas? To be truthful I knew I would come across some tacky stuff but really had faith that I would at least find a couple of cute items. …… I didn’t!!!

So instead of Cheesy Las Vegas junk I will share one of my favorite Etsy shops xmoonbloom . I have featured this shop in a Treasury once before and would love to share it with you all.

This is one of those shops that make you squeal inside when you enter. My Bailey girl just may be getting those sweet little mouse ears very soon!

About xmoonbloom:

I am "xmoonbloom" and I like to make things. Whether it's knitting, crochet, drawing, painting, music, whatever... I'm always working on a project! People have always told me I should sell my things and now Etsy has provided me that opportunity.

Make sure you stop by her Etsy Shop and show her some love

Yippeeeee, my very first Blog post!

So here I am trying to figure out how to make my first post be the most exciting post that one has ever read on a blog. If you can, please close your eyes and imagine crickets chirping. I believe you are now in my brain. Feel free to exit at any time. I do not know what my blog will be about as I do not think I will go with any theme of sorts. I told my husband that I really didn't know what I wanted to write about and this was his response" you talk to yourself a lot so I am sure you will come up with something". So I guess my blog will have a theme after all......me talking to myself talking to you. Obviously I make dog collars and the best ones in the whole wide world, so I will be shamelessly plugging those but I also want to promote other shops that I find on Etsy. Please contain your excitement. I know this is more than you ever could have imagined. If you need to please take some time to regain your composure as I know this is a lot to take in. Hopefully I shall see you again soon.

P.S

I hope you like Bulldogs because you will probably see and here a lot about Sophia.
