I came across this video on a blog last week and shared it on Facebook but wanted to share it here for those that missed it. It makes me miss my Mr. Cosmo that died last year from cancer. He definitely was not “Just a Dog”.
Sweet Mr. Cosmo
Etsy has so many great shops and products for our pets and here are some great ones I came across this week.
This 100% natural, therapeutic dog shampoo bar is formulated with oatmeal to calm and soothe itchy, dry skin. Cocoa butter conditions the coat, making it smooth and shiny! The bar is scented with Tea Tree, Peppermint, and Lemongrass essential oils to deter pesky insects from your dog's fur. Tea Tree oil also has beneficial medical properties, including antiseptic and antifungal action.
Her dresses and doggy accessories are so creative and adorable. Makes me want a teenie, little dog to play dress up with. Shhh… don’t tell Sophia I said that.
DOG SPRITZ Floral Naturally Insect Repelling and Deodorizing Pet Spray
DOG SPRITZ is completely natural and utilizes pure essential oils that are known to be deodorizing and insect repelling. It has no alcohol, synthetics or chemical preservatives
I know so many of us have been wondering what we can do to help out with the Gulf Coast oil spill. Well, if you love to shop and love to do good deeds, then I have the shop for you. Etsians are always quick to create a shop whenever there is a need and as usual they have not disappointed.
This is a collective Etsy shop to help the gulf coast recover from the massive BP oil spill. Etsy sellers have donated their items so that 100% of the proceeds can be given to charity.
100% of the proceeds (after Etsy & Paypal fees) will be donated to charities helping with the Gulf Coast recovery effort.
Here are just a few of the more than 300 items available in this shop
I have never come across a dog that is more demanding and high maintenance than Miss Sophia. Add a visiting puppy to the mix and my hands are full. In the midst of this doggy world is my cat, the divine Miss Bailey. I have had Bailey for thirteen years so she has been a huge part of my life. She is a special needs cat as she has diabetes which requires two insulin shots a day and is missing most of her teeth. Watching her try to eat a meal always makes for a good chuckle. She is as sweet as can be so of course when I relocated to the USA, I had to bring her with me.
If bailey could slap me in my face I think she would. Let’s just say she was not too happy when we brought Sophia home and then when we walked in the door with Scout, she wondered what more could she endure. Sophia likes to try to play with Bailey in a not so delicate way. This does not go over very well. Bailey is a saucy gal and she does not tolerate being contaminated with dog cooties. She has become the master of cat boxing between fighting off Sophia the beast and the ever so eager Scout. The three of them keep me on my toes all day long but I love it!
So to honor the Divine Bailey I searched out some great cat items on Etsy to share with you all.
Today is my three year wedding anniversary and it is amazing at how fast the time has gone by. The saying “time flies when you are having fun” must be true. I am lucky enough to be married to a man that I genuinely call my best friend. He makes me laugh daily, as we share the same childish sense of humor. We are both so lucky to have families that love us as much as we love them and look forward to having one of our own in the near future.
On this day of love I wanted to share a shop with you that I absolutely adore.
The creativity of others never ceases to amaze me!!!! I was cruising around Etsy as I tend to do way too often and just about fell out of my chair laughing when I came across a shop called - RearGear
Product description:
Is your pet feeling left in the dirt because of his/her unsightly rear? I’ve got them covered... Rear Gear is handmade in Portland, OR and offers a cheerful solution to be-rid your favorite pet’s un-manicured back side.
Rear Gear comes in many designs including a disco ball, air freshener, heart, flower, biohazard, smiley face, number one ribbon, cupcake, sheriff's badge, dice, and you can even make yours custom, so there’s a Rear Gear for everyone.
What an imaginative concept and super cute idea. If Miss Sophia didn’t have such a fantastic rear door cover, I would be buying one of these immediately. Hmmmmm….. I wonder if she does custom orders for cats as Bailey would look smashing with one of these delights covering her meowtastic tushie.
Why do rainy days have the power to make one feel gloomy? Well guess what rainy day… I am not going to let you turn me into a grumpy, sourpuss for the entire day. I have a weapon and it is Etsy.
I love to search for items on Etsy by using the pounce feature. This almost always guarantees a unique find and today did not let me down. As soon as I came across this little shop I started to smile.
I find other people’s ideas and creativity to be so interesting. There is no doubt in my mind that you must be an amazing and fun person to come up with the idea of sushi slippers!!!!
